 INTENSE PULSED LIGHT (IPL)

What Is IPL

IPL is most effective for skin color correction – both pigment and redness. It’s fantastic at erasing age spots, sun spots, sun damage, freckles, irregular pigmentation and light brown spots, and can be used on the face, neck, chest, and other places on the body. Although the IPL laser is designed to treat pigment and redness, in also improves fine wrinkles, large pores, rosacea and dilated capillaries, and even tightens the skin.

IPL treatments leave you with smooth, clear, evenly colored, bright and glowing skin.

How IPL Works

IPL treats the skin with quick and powerful flashes of light. The light energy penetrates below the skin's surface, where the unwanted brown pigment (melanin) lives. The heat breaks down this pigment into tiny particles, which either rise to the skin's surface and naturally slough away, or get carried away by the body's lymphatic system.

Is IPL Safe

Yes, very. Color correction with IPL is a very safe and effective procedure. As with all our lasers, the settings are adjustable, allowing us to match them to your specific skin type for maximum safety, comfort, and results.

Our IPL Services Are Good For :

HYPERPIGMENTATION

Hyperpigmentation occurs when the skin produces more melanin, the pigment that gives skin its color. This can make spots or patches of skin appear darker than surrounding areas.

ROSACEA

Rosacea is a common skin condition that causes blushing or flushing and visible blood vessels in your face. It may also produce small, pus-filled bumps. These signs and symptoms may flare up for weeks to months and then go away for a while.

There are four types of rosacea, though many people experience symptoms of more than one type.

  • Erythematotelangiectatic Rosacea. Which is characterized by persistent redness on the face.

  • Papulopustular Rosacea.

  • Phymatous Rosacea

  • Ocular Rosacea.

FACIAL VEINS

Many people do not notice tiny blue or red veins that appear on the face until multiple vessels are finally visible.  The medical name for most of these facial vessels is telangiectasia.

ACNE

Acne is a skin condition that occurs when your hair follicles become plugged with oil and dead skin cells. It often causes whiteheads, blackheads or pimples, and usually appears on the face, forehead, chest, upper back and shoulders.

SUN DAMAGE

Too much sun exposure can significantly damage human skin. The sun's heat dries out areas of unprotected skin and depletes the skin's supply of natural lubricating oils. In addition, the sun's ultraviolet (UV) radiation can cause burning and long-term changes in the skin's structure.

SKIN REJUVENATION

Skin rejuvenation allows you to rediscover the fresh, healthy skin of your youth with little to no downtime. Erase unwanted brown spots from the sun, diminish rosacea, minimize acne scarring and pore size, improve skin texture, and help smooth out wrinkles.
